Given ,

The area of plane sheet = 300 m²

The charge on a sheet (q) = 1800 uC

We know that ,

The amount of charge present in a given area is called surface charge density

   \large \mathtt{\fbox{Surface \:  charge \:  density \:  (σ )=  \frac{q}{s} }}

Thus ,

σ = 1800 × (10)-6/300

σ = (18/3) × (10)-6

σ = 6 × (10)^-6 C•m²

We know that ,

The electric field due to a uniformly charged large sheet is given by

 \large \mathtt{\fbox{E = \frac{ σ}{2 e_{o}}} }

Thus ,

 \sf \hookrightarrow E =  \frac{6 \times  {(10)}^{ - 6} }{2 \times 8.85 \times  {(10)}^{ - 12} }  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow E =  \frac{3 \times  {(10)}^{6} }{8.85}  \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow E =  3.3 \times  {(10)}^{5}  \:  \: n/c  \:  \: or \:  \:  v/m

Hence , the electric field is 3.3 × (10)^5 n/c or v/m
