A large stone, initially at rest, falls from the top of a building. The stone takes 3.2s to the ground. For this stone, air resistance can be ignored. Stating the formula that you use, show that the speed of the stone when it hits the ground is 32m/s. Take g=10m/s2

As the acceleration is uniform we can apply newton's law of motion

V=u+at

As u=0m/s

a=10 m/s^2

t=3.2 sec

So

V=0 + 10×3.2

V=32m/s

Hence proved

Hope it helps..... .
