Let total water in tank =  100 lt

So, it 30 %  =  30 × 100100 =  30 lt

So, we check at how many days after we have nearly 30 lt water left in the tank .

After 1st day we have total water in tank  = 100  - 14 × 100 =  100 - 25  =  75 lt
And
After 2nd day we have total water in tank  = 75  - 14 ×75 =  75 - 18.75  =  56.25 lt
And
After 3rd day we have total water in tank  = 56.25  - 14 ×56.25 =  56.25 - 14.0625  =  42.1875 lt
And
After 4th day we have total water in tank  = 42.1875  - 14 ×42.1875 =  42.1875 - 10.546875  =  31.640625 lt

So, we can say after 4th day water in tank is nearly the 30% of the total  .
