A large water tank measures 6 feet across and 4 feet high. It is being filled with water at a rate of 10 gallons per minute. About how many hours will it take to fill the pool if 1 cubic foot of water is about 7.5 gallons? Round to the nearest tenth.

⇒ 3.14 * 36 * 4

So, every minute 10/ 7.5 ≅ 1.34 cubic foot is getting filled.

Time taken = 452.16/ 1.34  ≅ 337.43 minutes

Which means 5.62 hours approximately and when rounding to the nearest tenth 5.6 hours.
