area of the lawn including path
=50+8+8=66
=40+8+8=56
66*56=3696m²
area of th path =area of the lawn including path-total area of the lawn
                        =3696-2000
=1696m²
area of path =1696m²
cost of levelling it at the rate of ₹ 50 per square metre .
=1696*50
=84800 rupees
