A lawn is 80 m long and 60 m wide. there is a swimming pool of length 20 m × 6 m in this lawn .
what will be the cost of putting grass in the remaining part of the feild at rupees 30 per square metre??​

breadth of the lawn = 60 m

so the area of lawn = lenght*breadth

                                  = 80*60

                                  = 480 sq. m

lenght of swimming pool = 20m

breadth of swimming pool = 6m

area of swimming pool=20*6

120 sq. m

remaining  land =480 sq. m - 120 sq.  m

360sq. m

price of putting grass per sq. m= 30rs per metre

so

price of putting grass in the lawn = 30rs * 360

   10,800 rs
