Assuming the land to be rectangular in shape then the area of the land will be length X breadth

of the lawn

area of lawn is equal to 80 x 30 which is equal to 2400 metre square.

Through the centre of the lawn two path of 2 metre width intersect each other at right angle.

That means those path will be in the form of two rectangle

the first one of 80 x 2

and the other will be 28(30-2)×2....

(because these two path intersect each other internally)

Area of path 1=80×2=160m square

Area of path 2=28×2=56m square
