A lawn mower is pushed with a force of 50N. If the angle between the handle of the mower and the ground is 30 degrees
1. Calculate the magnitude of the force that is pressing the lawn mower directly into the ground
2. Calculate the !agnitude of the effective force that moves the mower forward
3. Why does the lawn mower move forward and not downward into the ground.

It's really really really urgent.
I need a step by step solution till the final answer pls

Answer:

1- 25N

2-43.30N

3- Clearly as the magnitude of force in forward direction is greater than the one in downward direction

Explanation:

Answer 1- The magnitude of the force that is pressing the lawn mower to the ground is calculated by 50 sin30 =25N

Answer 2- The effective force that moves the mover forward is

50 cos30 =43.30N

Answer 3- The lawn mower move forward and not downward into the ground as the magnitude of force in forward direction is greater than the one in downward direction
