Area of Lawn is 11.88 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

  • Radius, r = \frac {42}{2}

= 21 cm (Half of Diameter)

  • And height, h = 1.5 m or 150 cm (1 m = 100 cm)

Curved surface area of lawn mover = 2 \pi rh

= 2\times  \frac {22}{7} \times 21 \times 150

= 19800 cm^2

  • So, Area of Lawn = 19800 \times 600

= 118800 cm^2

or 11.88 m^2 (1 m  = 100 cm)
