A leader is placed against a wall in such a way that it's foot is at distance of 9m from the wall and it's top reaches a window 12m above the ground in the wall find the length of the ledder. ​

Hey mate...

here's the answer...

Height of wall = 12m

Distance from the ladder to wall = 9m

(12)^2 + (9)^2 = (x)^2

144 + 81 = (x)^2

225 = x^2

15 = x

Height of ladder

= 15 m

Window is above from ground

= 12 m

Distance of ladder = 9 m

Length of the ladder =

(12)^2 + ( 9 ) ^2 = x ^2

144 + 81 = x ^2

225 = x ^2

x = 15 m ___ Ans

The length of ladder is 15 m
