A leader is placed against a wall such that its foot is 2.5 m distance from the wall , an it's top reached a window 6 m above the ground . Find the length of the leader .

Let AC is the ladder which is placed against the wall AB of height 6m, and BC be the foot of 2.5m.
Now in by Pythagoras theorem
AC square = AB square + BC square
AC square = 36m + 6.25m
AC square = 42.25m
