A leaf peel is put in a hypertonic solution. After some time it was transferred to a slide and observed under the microscope.
i) How will the cells in the peel appear.

(2) as in the hypertonic solution more water go outside then the water comes inside due to the process of osmosis.

(3) the phenomenon is osmosis. it is the passage from a low concentrated region to a high concentrated region through a semi permiable membrane.
