Solution :---

→ may months has total days = 31 .

it has been said that he takes leaves from 15th may and than join after 18 days.

So, he joins on = 15may + 18 days = (15may + 16 days) + 2 days = 31 may + 2 days = 2 june..

Now, it is given that , it was a leap year and 1 jan was sunday ..

So, our Question is now ,

→ 1 jan = sunday

→ 2 june = ?

Days left in jan = 31 - 1 = 30 days .

→ Days in Feb as its a leap year = 29 days.

→ Days in march = 31 days.

→ days in april = 30 days.

→ days in may = 31 days.

→ days in june = 2 days.

Total days = 30 + 29 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 2 = 153 days.

→ odd days in 153 days = 153/7 = 6 days..

So, days 6 days after sunday = sunday + 6 = saturday..

Hence, we can say that , he will join back in his duty on saturday..
