Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle= 36

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

According to the question,

L=3×b

Let b be x

Thus, 36= 2(3x+×)

36= 2×4x

4x= 36/2

4x= 18

x= 18/4

x= 4.5

Thus, breadth i.e. width is 4.5 units

And length is 3 × b = 3 × 4.5= 13.5 units
