A length of a rectangular fueld is 2 times it breadth .If the perimeter of the field is 72 cm .Find it length and breadth

Here is your answer:

perimeter \: of \: a \: rectangle = 2(length \:  + breadth

Let the breadth and length be b and 2b respectively

 = 2(2b + b) = 72

 = 4b + 2b = 72

 6b = 72

b =  \frac{72}{6}  = 12

so \: the \:breadth \: is \: 12 \: and \: the \: length \: is \: 24
