Let the breadth be x. Length= x+20 cm. Perimeter of rectangle=100cm. 2 (length+breadth)=100cm. 2 (x+20 +x)= 100cm. 2 (2x+20 cm)=100cm. 4x+40=100cm. 4x=100cm-40cm. x=60/4. x=15cm. Length=x+20=15+20=35cm. Breadth=x=15cm. Hope this helps you

let breath be x
length=20+x
perimeter=100
formula= 2(l+b)
        100 =2(20+x+x)
         100=40+4x
          4x=60
             x=15 cm
              length=20+x
               =20+15=35 cm
 so length=35cm and breath =15 cm
