Total number of letters in  English alphabets. = 26

Letters  succeeding V are  W , X , Y and Z

Hence 4 letters succeeds V.​

Probability is defined as ratio of  number of favorable outcomes with total possible outcomes

number of favorable outcomes  = 4

total possible outcomes = 26

Hence the probability that the letter chosen succeeds V.​ = 4/26

= 2/13
