As there are two places London and Clifton and the probability that the has letter come from one of them will be 50% mean 1/2

1.) London
probability that the letter come from london -:

favourable no. of terms ÷ total no. of terms = 1 ÷ 2 = 1/2 = 0.5

2.) Clifton
probability that the letter come from clifton -:

favourable no. of terms ÷ total no. of terms = 1 ÷ 2 = 1/2 = 0.5
