Dear Father
I trust this letter finds you in good health. I hope mother and sister are doing well too.
My studies are going on fine. In this final year, we will be having extra classes during vacation time as there is a large backlog of portions to be covered. If you remember, we had lost several days in July, due to students strike.
Due to the extra classes, I am afraid I will not be able to come home for Diwali vacation this time. If its not asking for too much, can you please cancel the family trip we had planned to Andamans, to a later time? I am really sorry, but these changes were announced only last week, by the college management. Please let me know in due course.
Please convey my regards to mother and sister. You take of your health, too.
