This story "A letter to God" is a story of extremefaith in god. The writer of this story G.L.Fuenteshad tried to depict the faith in god of a simple poorfarmer. Lencho was the poor farmer and Lenchowas an honest and hardworking farmer. Once therewas a hailstorm in his valley and it destroyed hiscrop completely. Lencho had great faith to God.Hence, he wrote a letter to god and asked to god tosend him money. The postmaster saw the letter. Hedecided to help Lencho. He collected some money.He put it inside the envelope. After few days Lenchocame to the post office to check his mail. The postoffice people gave him the envelope. Lencho openedthe envelope. He took out the money and counted it.He found that it was less than he had asked for.After that he wrote another letter to god. He askedGod to send him rest of the money. But this timeLencho wanted God not to send the money throughthe mail. He considered them a bunch of crooks whohad stolen thirty pesos from the hundred pesos sentby God.
