Dear India,
You are a country of people with diverse religions, castes and creed. India provides right to equality, inculcates freedom of expression, she upholds her dignity in the world.
By preserving the cultural traditions, festivals and heritage monuments, she projects rich values. India is as powerful as her inventions and invaluable contribution to the world of space, mathematics, and yoga.
The positive shift in trend towards empowering women is fantastic, and to see them climb the echelons of various spheres of life is extremely encouraging. Whether it is the corporate world, armed forces, sports, fashion designing, or science – she is making her presence felt like never before. This reflects that the society is undergoing a transformation.
I wish to see more Saina Nehwals, Sania Mirzas and Deepa Karmakars making the country proud.
With many new schemes being implemented, focus on entrepreneurship and start-ups, digitalisation, cleanliness and safety campaigns and giving preference to Indian raw-materials and products, she is the focus of attention.
In order for her to be safe, peaceful, harmonious, strong, clean and green for the future generations to survive, we all need to make concerted efforts to be able to envision India of our dreams and be able to say, “my India, my pride.”
