I am writing this letter to inform you that I won’t be able to come home in the puja vacation. This is simply because of my school tight schedule. I have many assignments to do and I have been compelled by my teacher to get it within a short period of my time.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that my absence might cause.  I wish to come home in the next vacation. Kindly extend my greeting to other members of the family. I love you both. Thanks

Dear parents,

I hope this letter will find you in good health. I am fine too. I am writing this to wish you two a very happy Durga Puja. But I regret to inform that I would not be coming to Kolkata this year for Puja.

My semesters are scheduled just after the Puja vacation, and you know I have to study really hard this time to get placed in a company. I will miss you two and the Puja very badly, but I promise to come during Christmas and who knows I might even get placed in some company of Kolkata.

So, please don't get disheartened and take my love and give me lots of blessing for my exam.
