Respected Sir,
Subject : Concern over the decreasing number of sensitive, helpful and loving individuals in our society.
I am an active social volunteer. I have been visiting old homes and meeting the senior citizens there. It is very sad that the number of sensitive, helpful and loving individuals is decreasing in our society.
I have noticed that many of the old people do not seem to belong to any family. Their family members have left them in the home and do not care to visit them. Old age is a time of life when emotional support is very important. The body and mind become weak and dependency creeps in. At such a time parents crave to meet their children and to have a sense of belonging to someone.
Some of the senior citizens have been separated from their spouses. This also causes a sense of loneliness. They do not have any financial support to make them feel self reliant.
I humbly request you to create awareness about this amongst the people and encourage them to be sensitive, helpful and loving individuals.
Yours Sincerely
Sachin Dubey
