Subject: Poor maintenance of drains.
Sir,
I wish to draw your consideration towards the lamentable street of our town. There is a huge problem of water-logging due to the bad maintenance of drains in our street.
Due to the poor maintenance of drains and water-logging, we are finding it difficult to walk on the footpath. Going to the market has also become difficult and even by the vehicles we are not able to reach on our place on time because of the huge traffic jam caused by the slow movements of the cars and motor vehicles.
The area which has potholes are now becoming invisible due to this drain’s unwanted water which is leading to accidents.
Water-logging leads to mosquito breeding, although luckily no one in my locality has suffered from malaria and dengue till now but I am sure there will be a huge number of patients if the situation remains the same, our area has been badly hit by this water-logging in monsoon season.
I had complained about it earlier to the municipality. However, there has been no response from them. So, we are writing this letter to you so that you can publish it and bring the issue to the notice of the officials.
It is hoped that the matter will be looked into urgently so that future troubles can be avoided.
Thanking you!
Yours sincerely

Respected Sir
I wish to draw your attention to pathetic condition of our locality due to poor maintenance of drains in the streets of our town.
People are facing problems daily. The drains are still overflowing and the locality has a terrible smell. Water logging is the another problem. In this area, mosquitoes and insects breed, which is unhygienic and makes life unpleasant for us. This water logging attracts mosquitoes and can cause diseases like malaria, dengue etc. This water logging attracts mosquitoes and may cause diseases such as malaria, dengue, etc.
We are not able to go anywhere not even with vehicles. The roads are full of garbage. Vegetable vendors are also facing the same problem.
Residents of ground floor are in miserable condition. They are facing problems more than us.
We have also reported our problem to jmuncipality but they didn't respond back.
Requesting you to publish this letter. Thank you for reviewing our letter.
Thanking You
Yours Sincerely
Rohini Maheshwari
