Subject: Complaint regarding shortage of essentials during lockdown

Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to your notice that there has been tremendous chaos and fear over the shortage of essential items especially food during the period of lockdown.

This has aroused due to certain circumstances such as increasing demand along with increasing price. Also, a certain section of the society has been hoarding food items, thereby further enhancing the chaos. Some sellers are even black marketing their products thereby adding to the trouble.

I would be highly obliged if you kindly allot a portion of your newspaper to publish this article to draw the attention of the respective authorities so that action is taken at the earliest.

Thanking you

Yours faithfully,

Risha Sharma.
