Subject: Unauthorised encroachment on roads and market-places

Dear

Sir, Through the columns of your esteemed Newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the illegal encroachment of public property. The roads have become narrower due to the extension of the shops onto the pavement by the shopkeepers. Vendors put their stalls on the pavement and on the side of the streets, thus making it impossible for the pedestrians to walk on the streets. I appeal to the concerned authorities to take strict action against these poachers and free up the market-place and roads of regular traffic jams.

Yours Faithfully
