Answer:

Dear HEADMASTER

Sir, I want to apologise for my son Brian Sebastian not attending school on 20th - 23rd December 2013 due to a high fever and convulsions. I called the school secretary, Mrs. Sunshine, on the 20th and advised her that he has a high fever and we possibly may have to take him to the doctor.

We visited Dr Josef and he advised the child to be in bed; please find attached the certificate from Dr Josef’s clinic.

Please can I ask if my son can take the test, as it is important to him and he wants to achieve good grades.

I look forward to answering any questions about this absence.

Kind regards,

Mary Sebastian

Dear Headmaster,

This letter is to bring to your notice that my child, Sawyer Michelson couldn’t attend the recent examination.

It is due to high fever that he couldn’t attend it and he is bed-ridden. He is also having a lot of headaches and it was according to me, that he shouldn’t attend the exam. I had tried informing the teacher, even the supervisor, but both of them messaged me to consult you.

Please consider this for my son and allow him to retake the examination after this week.

Yours sincerely,
