Dear Amit:
I hope this letter finds you in great health and high spirits. I am going to share with you how I celebrated my birthday last week. I wanted to do something unique this time. My parents also wanted to celebrate it in a different manner. So, we took the cake, eatables, and gifts for the children living in the orphanage. We had taken prior permission from the authorities who run the orphanage. The orphanage had provided us a room to celebrate my birthday. The children were waiting for us when we reached the orphanage. As I cut the cake, the children clapped and sang ‘Happy Birthday To You’. My joy was increased manifold when I celebrated my birthday with the children. They were so happy to receive gifts from. They had made up cards for me. It was my best birthday celebrations. Thanks for your wishes also. That’s it for now! Namaskar to uncle ji and auntie ji. All the best for the coming exams.
Yours affectionately,
Aryan

Dear Simran:
I hope this letter finds you in festive spirits. I am still under the hangover of the Diwali break. The entire family was busy shopping, decorating the house, and in the Diwali celebration preparation. This year the Green and Clean Diwali campaign was in full swing; so I decided to celebrate Diwali in eco-friendly manner. I decided that I would not let off any crackers. I also appealed to my brothers, sisters, cousins and friends not to explode any crackers.
I went to the market to buy electric lights; I myself decorated my home. Then I went to the best sweet-shop two days before the festival to buy fresh sweets. I also bought dry-fruits. I went to my friends and relatives’ places to give them Diwali greetings and gifts. Many friends and relatives visited my home too to give us the festival greetings and gifts.
On the eve of Diwali, I participated in the traditional pooja of the goddess Laxmi. It was a wonderful Diwali. Dear Simran, I wish you a healthy, happy, and prosperous Diwali. Warm regards.
Yours affectionately,
Mohan

Hope this letter finds you in sound health and high spirits after the Diwali. I think that according to me yesterday was the joyful and glorious day in my childhood. Yesterday when the immersion of KALI MA was being done so many crackers were bursted. Our orphanage people brought us many environment and eco friendly crackers for us. The crackers did not even polluted the air. Very less amount of smoke was produced. So ,we were very happy and the crackers did not hurt us. We played and enjoyed Diwali happily and safely. If you want to know which crackers were used , then I must tell you that they were balloon poppers, party poppers , some eco friendly crackers and many more.
Now you tell about your enjoyment in this Diwali and which crackers did you use. I would be waiting for your reply as soon as possible.
Your best friend
