Dear XYZ,

How are you doing? I hope you are studying well and completing all your assignments on time. How is the food at the hostel now? I hope you have got accustomed to their food by now.

I have been going through the news lately and I saw many reports saying there is an outbreak of dengue in your city. So, you should take all the preventive measures to not fall ill.

Avoid having food from outside and have only the hostel food for the next few days. If possible ask and drink for boiled water or just have the RO water that the hostel supplies. Take a bath every day preferably with hot water with a few drops of Dettol. Wash and keep your clothes clean all the time and do not let them pile up. This attracts a lot of mosquitoes. Also, keep your room, bedsheets, and pillows clean. Do not pile up your books and keep them clean and neat. A dirty and dusty place is a mosquito's heaven. Do not leave any leftover food in the open. Keep all your eatables closed and packed well. Do not store any water in the buckets as they tend to attract the mosquitoes. Apply a mosquito repellant cream while you go to the classes because the mosquitoes that bite in the daytime cause dengue. 

Keep yourself and your surroundings clean always and stay safe.
