Position of the fulcrum is 1 m from the load.

Explanation:

Given Data:

Load = 60 N

Effort ( force) = 30 N

Let "x" be the distance of fulcrum from the load

Now

Effort arm = (3 - x)

We know that

Load x load arm = Effort x Effort arm

60 x = 90 - 30 x

90 x = 90

x = 90/90 = 1 m

Therefore position of the fulcrum is 1 m from the load.

Answer:

1 m from 60N and 2m from 30N

Explanation:

MA=Load/Effort

=60N/30N

=2

Total length of the lever (length of effort arm) + (length of load arm) =3m

Hence, we get, length of effort arm=2 and length load arm =1m

So, 1m from 60N and 2N from 30N.
