Given

  • A lever of length 100 cm has effort of 15 kgf at a distance of 40 cm from the fulcrum at one end.

We Find

  • What load can be applied as its other end

According to the question

Mechanical Advantage = Effort Arm / Load Arm

= 40/100

= 0.4

So,

0.4 = Load / 15 KGF

= Load = 15 × 0.4 kgf

= Load = 6 kgf

so, Load is 6 kgf

Answer:

6KGF

Explanation:

GIVEN:-

E=15KGF F=40CM

MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE =EFFORT ARM/LOAD ARM

=40/100

=0.4

SO

0.4= LOAD/15KGF

=LOAD=6KGF
