Effort arm = 40 cm

Load applied = l

load arm = length of lever

               = 100 cm

Load x Load Arm = Effort x Effort Arm

=> l x 100 cm  = 15 kgf  x 40  cm

=> 100 l = 600

=> l = \frac{600}{100}

=> l = 6
