A lever the first order has a total length of 3m and is able to lift a load of 60 N with a Effort of 30N. Find the position of fulcrum.

Effort ( force) = 30 N

Let "x" be the distance of fulcrum from the load

Now

Effort arm = (3 - x)

We know that

Load x load arm = Effort x Effort arm

60 x = 90 - 30 x

90 x = 90

x = 90/90 = 1 m

Therefore position of the fulcrum is 1 m from the load.
