The total length of tape required = Perimeter of the rectangle.

= 2(lenght+breadth)

= 2(lenght+breadth)= 2(40+10)

= 2(lenght+breadth)= 2(40+10)= 2(50)

= 2(lenght+breadth)= 2(40+10)= 2(50)= 100 cmn

= 2(lenght+breadth)= 2(40+10)= 2(50)= 100 cmn= 1 meter

Therefore, total length of tape required is 100 cm or 1 meter
