We know that Work done = m * g * h     (h = 10 * 6 = 60m)

                                            = 400 * 10 *  60

                                            = 240000

Power = Work/Time

            = 240000/10

            = 24000 KW.

Hope this helps!

tanisharaj: why u have done 10*6 as, here it is not written that height of 1 floor is 6m
tanisharaj: here 6m/hr is written.
siddhartharao77: In the question it is given 6m
siddhartharao77: Given total floors are 10 and height in each floor is 6m. So height of all floor becomes 10 * 6 = 60.
tanisharaj: it can be by mistake but it is 6m/hr
siddhartharao77: Ohkkkk...Could u tell me the correct answer?
tanisharaj: 315.28horse power
tanisharaj: pls give me sol.
