A lift is going up with acceleration 2g a man is inside the lift and his mass m what will be the reaction of the floor on the man

The resultant force which is the reaction force is given by:

F = m(g + a)

Where :

F = Reaction force

g = Gravitational force

a = Acceleration of the lift.

Doing the substitution  we have :

m(2g + g) = m(3g)
