A lift of mass 100kg start moving from rest in the upward direction . If the speed of the lift T1,T2 and T3 stand for tension in the rope form 0 to 2 sec. ,2 to 6 sec. , 6 to 7 sec. , respectively then:-

Explanation:For each interval of time,

the slope is: 2, 0 and -4 respectively.

And the eqn. of motion is:

T =m(g+a) => 100*(g +a)

For first interval of time we have a = 2 m/s^2

Hence T1 = 100*12 = 1200 N

T2 = 100*g => 1000 N

T3 = 100*(g -4) => 600 N

Ratio of the Tensions are:

=> 6:5:3
