Given : A lifting machine having V.R.= 45.

an effort of 250 N is required to lift a load of 750 N is

To Find  : efficiency of the machine

Solution:

effort of 250 N

V.R.= 45.    ( velocity ratio)

Hence Equivalent effort = 250 x 45

Let say efficiency  = η  %

Then  250 x 45 * (η/100)  = 750

=>  45 * (η/100)  = 3

=> η = 300/45

=> η = 20/3

=> η =  6.67 %

efficiency of the machine =  6.67 %

Answer:

Efficiency of the machine = 6.67% Ans.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : -

A lifting machine having V.R.= 45. an effort of 250 N is required to lift a load of 750 N is

To Find : -

efficiency of the machine

Solution:

effort of 250 N

V.R.= 45. (velocity ratio)

Hence Equivalent effort = 250 x 45

Let say efficiency = n %

Then 250 x 45 × (n/100) = 750

➨ 45 × (n/100) = 3

➨ n = 300/45

➨ n = 20/3

➨ n = 6.67%

Efficiency of the machine = 6.67% Ans.✔
