The momentum of both the lighter and the heavier body is same.
Since, of course, the mass of the lighter body is less than the heavier body, the velocity of the lighter body must be larger than the velocity of the heavier body. (as momentum = mass × velocity)

Now coming to Kinetic energy (KE),

KE is directly proportional to m

KE is also directly proportional to v²

For the smaller body, the mass is small, this can make the KE small but since the velocity is more, velocity square is going to be even more, so KE, eventually, will be more.

Whereas, for the heavier one, since the mass is more the KE could be more, but it's not because, it's velocity is less than the lighter one, and the velocity square is also going to be less than the lighter one, this making the KE less.


Therefore, due to larger velocity, KE of the lighter body is more.
