HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

For a light body its mass is less whereas it is more in case of heavy body

so for the momentum to be same, from the equation momentum=mv, so for the light body velocity must be more and for the heavier body the velocity must be less, then only their moment can be in equilibrium.

so we take an example

FOR LIGHT BODY

let mass=m

velocity =v

p(momentum)= mv

FOR HEAVY BODY

let mass =2m

velocity = v/2

p=2m*v/2

= mv(same as light body)

NOW FOR KINETIC ENERGY

FOR LIGHT BODY

k.e= 1/2*m*v^2

FOR HEAVY BODY

k.e=1/2*2m*(v/2)^2

=1/2*2m*v^2/4

=1/2*m*v^2*2/4

=1/2*m*v^2*1/2

so

MARK IT AS THE BRAINLIEST we can see that the Kinetic energy of the heavy body gets halved

ratio

heavy(ke): light(ke)

so it comes to 1:2

SORRY FOR SUCH A BIG ANSWER

BUT IT WILL SURELY CLEAR ALL YOUR DOUBTS
