Answer:In air velocity of light is 3×108m/s and wavelength is 6000Ao=6000×10−10m

We know that c=λ×f , f=frequency

3×108=6000×10−10×f

f=5×1014Hz

We know that refractive index n=velocityoflightinmediumvelocityoflightinvacuum=vc

Here c=3×108m/s

So 1.5=v3×108

⟹v=2×108m/s

Since frequency does not change when light enters from one medium to other.

v=λf

2×108=λ×5×1014

λ=4×10−7m=4000Ao
