Kinetic Energy is given as 0.5m(v^2)
This means,
KE ∝ m
KE ∝ v^2
Since the lighter and the heavier bodies have the same KE this means the lighter body will have higher velocity whereas the heavier body will have lower velocity.
Now, momentum is given as mv, since the heavier body will have lower velocity and the lighter body will have higher velocity, how can we determine which body will have greater momentum?
