Hey there,
P(momentum)=MV ---(1)
KE(kinetic energy)=1/2MV^2---(2)
Squaring(1) and dividing by 2M we get
=>P^2/2M =KE
For bodies having same momentum(P)
=>KE inversely proportional to mass
So,lighter body will have greater KE than heavier body.
