Acc. To me,

Formula V=IR

V must in Volt

R is in ohm

I is must in Ampere to get ohm unit

I= 300mA

1mA=0.001A

Multiply by 300

300mA=0.3A

You see you change 300mA current into 0.3A

V=240V

V=IR

240=0.3*R

240/0.3=R

800 ohm=R----ans

Must kept in mind resistance comes in ohm when current in Ampere and potential in Volt.
