total degree is 90
given 60
we know angle of reflection is = Angle of incidence..
so 90-60 is 30 so it is 30degree

The angle between the ray coming out of the slab and the normal to the face of the rectangular slab which comes out is 30 degrees.

Explanation:

  • Light ray is given in the question being incident on the slab made of glass and gets reflected from the surface.
  • Now as we know that the incident of a light ray or just a ray for that matter on a surface smooth enough to reflect the back without any absorption.
  • Then the angle at which the ray is being incident on the surface of the slab would definitely be equal to the angle that would be formed when the ray is reflected from the surface.
  • Now since the angle of ray is 60 degree angle between the slab and reflected ray would also be 60° but since we know the angle between the normal and the reflected ray and it would definitely be 90-60 = 30 degrees.
