Solution :-

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{s = ut +\frac{1}{2} at^2}}

  • Here, it started from rest so u = 0

a = 4m/s^2

s = 50m

u = 0

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{50 = (0)t +\frac{1}{2} *4*t^2}

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{50 = \frac{2}{1}*t^2}

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{\frac{50}{2}  = t^2}

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{t^2} = 25

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{t} = \sqrt[2]{25}

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{t} = 5\:s

Final Answer :-

\rightarrow\:\:\bf{time\:taken = 5\:s}
