A line is of length 5 and one end is at the point  (2,-1); if the abscissa of the other end is 4 , prove that its ordinate must be 2 or -6.​

sorry but you say a line of lenght 5 but you mention three points x=(2,-1),y= 4, z = 2 or -6 which makes it a 3 d figure not a 2d line of a simple graph make the question clear to get answer
