Here the coordinates = (a, 2a)

Therefore x= a
And y = 2a

The equation = 4x + 3y + 5 = 0
To find a

Let replace x and y
So,
4x + 3y + 5 =0
4(a) + 3(2a) + 5 = 0
4a + 6a + 5 = 0
10a = - 5
a = - 5/10
a = - 1/2

Therefore the value of a = - 1/2
