Let ratio be x

Thus, 1 side = 3x

2 side = 4x

A/q,

3x + 4x = 42 cm

=>. 7x = 42 cm

=> x = 42 cm / 7 = 6 cm

So,

1 side = 3 * 6 = 18 cm

2 side = 4 * 6 = 24 cm
