Consider the figure for reference,
In Triangles APQ & BPQ,
P bisects AB thus PA =PB...(1)
PQ is perpendicular to AB, thus ∠ QPA = ∠ QPB = 90°
PQ is a common segment to both the triangles APQ & BPQ
Thus by the definition of congruence that 2 triangles are congruent if 2 sides and an angle formed by them are equal in each triangle. ALso knon as Side-ANgle-SIde(SAS)
Thus triangles APQ & BPQ are congruent
Thus side QA = QB
In Triangles APQ & BPQ,
